I found these little white tins at a local store, and couldn’t resist altering one. Or altering many, since I did buy a few…
I used glue dots to attach a piece of paper around the tin, and used a corner rounder on the matching paper for the lid. Then I added ribbon, and glittered up a chipboard monogram. A tiny piece of ribbon is attached to the ‘D’ with a brad, and a rhinestone flower finishes it off.
Inside the tin, there is a cello bag full of Jolly Rancher candies and tied with a piece of curling ribbon. Why Jolly Ranchers? Simple, it’s hot outside, and chocolate melts too quickly for me to get this gift to its recipient safely.
To give you an idea of the size, the ‘D’ is 2 inches tall. This was so quick to make, I may have to buy a few more tins to have on hand for making last-minute gifts.
